Kızılcahamam - Çamlıdere Geopark and Geotourism Project (KÇJJP) will be enlarge and cover an area much wider than today’s in the future. It includes 23 stops today. Each stop site (geosite) is composed of different geologic formations formed in a time span changing from 23 million to 20 thousand years. They are special parts of the Earth, ground and rocks, and they constitute the substructure for the fauna (black vulture, yellow fox, big ear vole) and flora (oak, macchia, pine trees, anemone) of the region. All together give opportunity to get more detailed information about the nature to the visitors. Stop points have been decked out with explanation tables for the people in different levels of knowledge. If you need, you may walk around in accompaniment of a guide. The Geotourism Square in the Kızılcahamam town centre is the meeting point where you will find the preliminary information about the project and stop points and you will get oriented for all.
